Rod Benders

1. French Rod Bender
   The standard French style rod bender features a multi-stage center cam which allows the surgeon to bend multiple diameter rods. All three rollers have a radial groove to reduce the formation of stress risers on the rod. This rod bender also has the option of silicone Ortho-Grip® inlays to reduce slippage (See "D" below)-item #RB101004
2. Tube Style Rod Bender
   Tube style rod benders are cannulated and fit rods up to 5/16" in diameter. Can be used alone or with the French style rod bender to increase its bending range-item #RB201000
3. Hand Malleable Trial Rod
   
   This silicone covered trial rod, with soft aluminum core, can be easily shaped by hand (see photo). The trial rod is used to create a template of the rod shape and helps reduce the occurence of incorrectly bent support rods. The silicone covering provides a sure grip during contouring and contains all microscopic flaking of the anodized core. 4. Ortho-Grip® Silicone Rubber Inlay
   You can add this inlay to most of our stainless steel handles. It reduces slippage and increases user comfort. Available in custom colors.
5. IN-SITU Rod Benders
   A pair of right and left in-situ rod benders allow for placement in small exposures. Available in a variety of rod sizes.
